OVERHOLSER MANSION

Fundraising benefit shows with THE GHOST TELLER, this year at the Overholser Mansion on Thursday and Friday October 27,28, 2011. All funds will go to the historic  house.    Two story sessions each night will feature tales from Oklahoma history and original tales to bring a shiver. After each session the group will be given a guided tour by a mansion docent.

THE GHOST TELLER COMETH! :NEVER TOO EARLY TO SCHEDULE

Get a head start! Marilyn A. Hudson, author and storyteller, presents a perfect program for teens or adults!  Stories drawn from history, legends, and the whole cloth of author-storyteller Marilyn A. Hudson.  Hudson has shared her tales at the Overholser Mansion, public libraries, colleges, and community events, among many other venues.
 
Hudson is scheduling a limited number of engagements during October 2011.*
 
Oct. 17-21 (Day or Evening) she will be available for programs.
Oct. 10-15 (Evenings only)
Oct. 1 and 29 (Sat.)
Oct. 8, 15, 22 (Sat.) - Morning events only
 
"There are limited spots available!  So hurry. Due to the hectic pace of this month, I will need to remain in the larger multi-county metro area.  But large trips on some weekend events might be possible - shoot me an email!"
 
Bio: Marilyn A. Hudson is an author and storyteller who will delight with stories out of Oklahoma's past plus legends from long ago, urban legends of today, nearly forgotten classic literature, and from her own delightful and spooky imagination.  Hudson is the author of, among other titles, the short story collection, The Bones of Summer: A Collection of Chilling Tales and the co-author of the novel, The Mound.

Thanks Overholser Mansion!



The 2nd annual "Scary Stories and Twilight Tours" is now history, having wrapped up Friday night. Running Wed.- Fri. the event provided two sessions of stories and a tour of the mansion at night.
Nearly ninety people, many who had never visited the historic site, attended over the three evenings.

Listen to scary stories told by Oklahoma storyteller Marilyn Hudson followed by a twilight tour of the mansion - at night.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children .
